What is Open Source
Open source is a development method for software that harnesses the power of distributed peer review and transparency of process. The promise of open source is better quality, higher reliability, more flexibility, lower cost, and an end to predatory vendor lock-in.
We believe that open source has permanently changed the dynamics of how knowledge is created and distributed. Software is the first area where the impact of open source is visible due to the success of Linux, Apache and many other software programs. But new areas are embracing it more and more. In the world of content for instance, Wikipedia has become the world’s largest encyclopedia due to adoption of an open source model.
Therefore, we at Netlogics Software, are convinced that software companies must embrace the open source movement; they should collaborate each other to share their knowledge, their expertize, in order to maximize their potential and their efficiency; for the benefit of the final user, their customer..
This is why we are freely providing all sources and binaries (Apache Licence) on our site. Currently, the following projects are freely provided:
- NAntAddin for VisualStudio
- NUnitAddin for VisualStudio
- MSBuildAddin for VisualStudio
- Soha Navigator and its associated Demo Applications
For any comment or problem about these projects, you can always send an email to dev@netlogics.ch and describe what you're trying to do. Enjoy yourself !
